Large open wetland / upland complex thought to have been created by logging in early 1900's. Adjacent communities in wetland include sedge types, "bogs", and a narrow zone of bluejoint along the stream channel.;Hummocky shrubland community with scattered Photinia pyrifolia overtopping dense short shrub layer of Vaccinium spp. and Rubus hispidus. Community seems centered here on a drainage between a higher bog area (TUCK.10) and the stream terrace (TUCK.9). High hummocks have created some open pools with standing water. Wood in plot possibly drifted in high floods.
